Bird Paintings
I feel painting birds has been the perfect fit for my process. Brushstrokes resemble feathers for me. You can make a bird whatever colors you feel like and it can complement the bird's perceived personality. Our world changes so much and so frequently, I feel we are all in controlled chaos. Birds are quite literally far above the mud. I feel birds can be the calmness within the chaos.

The Meriden Bridge is a historic covered bridge in the Meriden area of Plainfield, New Hampshire. The bridge is a single span which carries Colby Hill Road over Bloods Brook, just west of a junction with Main Street and Willow Brook Road.

We have a tree in our yard that I have always found very peaceful. While creating a background, I found that the colors where very similar to a beautifyul sunset. I felt the sunset needed a focal point, so I added our tree. I hope you like it.
